Abstract:
Nintendo announced its latest financial report. As of September 30, 2026, cumulative global sales of Nintendo Switch 2 reached 26.35 million units, and cumulative sales of Nintendo Switch reached 157.2 million units.
In the three months to that date, Switch 2. 2.67 million units of hardware were sold, and 15.04 million copies of software were sold; 610,000 units of Switch hardware were sold, and 31.92 million copies of software were sold. The cumulative software sales of the two generations of platforms exceeded 73.21 million copies and 1.59387 billion copies respectively.
In terms of first-party games, "Mario Kart: World" has sold a total of 16.48 million copies, "Pokémon Legends Z-A" has sold 5.05 million copies, and "Pokémon Legends Z-A" Switch 2 version and "Pokémon: Pokopia" have sold 4.04 million copies.
On the Switch platform, the cumulative sales of "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition" reached 72 million copies, and "Assemble! "Animal Crossing" had 50.63 million copies, and "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" had 34.28 million copies.
