Abstract:
"Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered" has just landed on the Switch2 console, and the NS2 emulator Lichii can already start and run the game on the PC. Currently, only some derivative versions of Lichii can run this game, and the official original version of Lichii still cannot run properly. At this stage, the game is still far from being fully playable, and there are still a lot of serious picture bugs: the open world scene will have screen flickering, image artifacts, and flood rendering abnormalities. Only the Great Deku Tree area is in relatively good condition.
YouTuber reznoire released a demonstration video with the hardware configuration of i9‑14900K + RTX4090, showing the Deku Big Tree level. The blogger did not specify the specific branch version used. The video shows that the simulator failed to fully utilize the performance of the CPU and graphics card. This high-end PC could only run the game at 40 frames.
It is recommended that ordinary users wait for a few more weeks for the main version of Lichii to add adaptation to this game. Even so, the fact that a new Switch 2 game that has just been released can be successfully launched on the emulator is amazing in itself. It is not ruled out that Nintendo will follow the example of the Yuzu emulator and take action to remove the emulator.

It is worth mentioning that the two emulators Eglantine and Lichii can already launch a number of Switch2 games, including "Dragon Strike: Full Power" and "Mario Kart World".
