Abstract:

In recent months, "Big Onion Brother" CyberLeek has attracted attention for releasing a series of pictures and videos allegedly related to "GTA6". Recently, the controversial whistleblower issued a three-part statement announcing that he would temporarily stop breaking the news.

He said in the statement that he had mastered the complete ending of "GTA6", but in order to preserve suspense and not destroy the player's experience, he decided not to disclose it.

The statement titled "Journey's End" mainly touched on three topics: the controversy surrounding his cryptocurrency, his previous claim that he might release a version of the game with a capacity exceeding 200GB, and plot spoilers for "GTA 6".

In part one, CyberLeek responded to criticism of its project’s associated cryptocurrencies. He explained that CL tokens had only been sold twice, both times to pay for transaction fees; this, he claimed, had been made clear from the beginning. In his view, the initial sale of the tokens triggered panic selling by other holders, leading critics to falsely blame him primarily for the price collapse and market collapse.

He emphasized that all transactions can be tracked publicly on the blockchain and claimed that everything he owns, sells or delivers to users complies with previous commitments. CyberLeek also stated that the CL token has been a donation tool from the first day of its launch, not an investment product, so he has never promised or guaranteed investment returns to buyers.

The second part of the statement talks about the plot of "GTA6". CyberLeek once again claimed to have the complete ending of the game and considered making it public. According to him, this could deal a fatal blow to Take-Two Interactive, but also permanently ruin the gaming experience for millions of players who have nothing to do with the dispute between him and the company.

He ultimately decided not to reveal the ending, writing: "Take-Two will not show any mercy to CL. So why should we show mercy to them? Nonetheless, I think the punishment Take-Two has received so far has been enough. Therefore, the ending of the game will not be announced."

CyberLeek went on to claim that the footage he recently leaked actually contained clips from some key missions in the later stages of the game, but that he intentionally edited these clips and released them out of context to avoid revealing key plot points.

He also said that he activated a security mechanism called "Dead Man’s Switch". According to him, the automated system only contains major plot spoilers and is only activated when someone or an agency attempts to eliminate, arrest or stop him. There are currently no independent sources confirming that this system exists or that it contains what he claims.

In the third part of the statement, CyberLeek once again talked about the full game version of "GTA6". He had previously issued an ultimatum, saying that if the market value of the cryptocurrency related to his project reached US$30 million, a fully playable version of "GTA 6" with a capacity of more than 200GB would be released on the Internet.

Now, he announced that since that goal was not achieved, he will not release any version of the game. He believed that uploading more than 200GB of confidential data anonymously was an extremely high security risk; he was only willing to take those risks if he got the $30 million he needed to fund another secret project.

CyberLeek stated that the conditions of this agreement were clear from the beginning. Since the target group failed to meet the $30 million requirement, he also decided to abide by the rules set in advance and give up releasing the game.
