In response to the recent incident of people climbing on unmanned delivery vehicles while driving in Zhengzhou urban roads, Neolithic officially issued a statement in response
. The vehicle involved was an unmanned express vehicle operated by the company in Zhengzhou. On-board surveillance showed that three suspected minors climbed onto the roof of the unmanned vehicle that was waiting for a red light and remained on the roof after the vehicle started.
As for the question of "why the unmanned vehicle failed to detect the person on the roof," Neolithic explained that
the sensor captured the relevant image at the time.
However, because the person's climbing occurred while waiting for a red light, the action characteristics were inconsistent with the existing risk model, and the weight did not reach the vehicle load abnormality alarm threshold, the system did not determine that it was a risk that required braking or pulling over. : optimizing the recognition capabilities of sensors and algorithms for unconventional targets and incorporating roof abnormalities into the risk model; strengthening the efficiency of remote safety officers in detecting and handling abnormal behaviors; and strengthening on-site inspections of key operating lines.
