Abstract:
NVIDIA released its second quarter financial report for fiscal year 2027. Data show that the company's revenue reached US$96.221 billion, a year-on-year increase of 106%; net profit was US$59.688 billion, a year-on-year increase of 126%; adjusted earnings per share was US$2.22, a year-on-year increase of 120%. Among them, the data center business performed particularly well, with revenue reaching US$89 billion, a year-on-year increase of 117%, accounting for 92.5% of the company's total revenue.
In the earnings conference call,
Chief Financial Officer Colette Kress revealed that revenue from H200 products shipped to Chinese customers accounted for less than 1% of total data center revenue.
Colette Kress emphasized that all shipments to China strictly comply with the export license requirements issued by the US government.
At the same time, the company did not include any revenue expectations from China's data center computing business in its performance outlook for this quarter.
According to previous reports, NVIDIA H200 chips have begun to enter the Chinese market in small batches.
Informed sources revealed that ByteDance and Tencent have each received about 10,000 H200 processors in recent weeks, and several Chinese technology companies are also expected to receive similar supplies in the short term.
Although the United States has approved each Chinese company to purchase up to 100,000 H200 chips, so far, the number actually approved has only remained in small-scale batches, and the overall supply is still strictly restricted.
