received a "Welcome back old users" email from Renren Film and Television to old users.
The email stated: "We can finally meet on the App" and also offered a one-month membership to old users.
Currently, Renren Film and Television has changed its name to "Renren Film and Television Share Wonders" and has officially landed on the Apple App Store.

The operator of the App is Sharing Wonderful Network Technology (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd., and the developer is WASU Media Network Co. The corresponding Chinese name is Wasu Media Network Co., Ltd., which also owns apps such as Wasu TV+ and Wasu i Home.
According to media reports, Renren Film and Television staff stated that the platform has cooperated with Wasu Media, and the film sources in the App are all genuine purchases.
Similar to the current mainstream video platforms, "Renren Video Sharing Wonders" has also launched a membership payment service this time. Among them,
monthly membership is priced at 25 yuan, quarterly membership is 60 yuan, annual membership is 175 yuan, and lifetime membership is 888 yuan.
It is understood that Renren Film and Television can be traced back to the subtitle group "YYeTs" established in 2003. Since then, it has gradually developed into one of the platforms for many domestic users to obtain overseas film and television content.
In April 2009, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television issued the "Notice on Strengthening the Content Management of Internet Audiovisual Programs", which clearly stated that "domestic and foreign film and television works that have not obtained a license are not allowed to be disseminated on the Internet." Renren Film and Television was subsequently shut down for rectification.
In October 2014, Renren Video was named a piracy website by the Motion Picture Association of America. A month later, some servers of Renren Film and Television were shut down due to suspicion of distributing pirated film and television works.
In February 2021, the Shanghai police issued a notice. After a three-month investigation,
the Shanghai police uncovered a major cross-provincial case of copyright infringement of film and television works by the "Renren Film and Television Subtitle Group", with the amount involved exceeding 16 million yuan.
The report stated that 14 suspects led by Liang have been arrested in this case, 3 companies involved in the case were investigated, and 20 mobile phones and 12 computer hosts and servers were seized.
In November of the same year, the court sentenced the defendant Liang to three years and six months in prison for copyright infringement and fined him 1.5 million yuan.
