The screenshot attached to the post shows that the PS5 has error code WS-116332-6, and the prompt message states that the host's service access has been "permanently or temporarily suspended." It is reported that the affected user stated that he only purchased this PS5 three months ago and asked if there was a way to solve the problem.

This incident is a warning to PS5 users with firmware version 13.60 or lower. There are significant risks associated with connecting a modded console to PSN's online services, including losing access to online features and the console itself being permanently deactivated.

Recent developments in the realm of PS5 homebrew software have allowed hackers to make major breakthroughs in expanding access to newer console software versions. Cracks for PS5 firmware 13.60, which is just two versions below the latest firmware 14.10, are now available. It uses the "relapse" exploit originally released by modders Nathan Fargo and Sonic ISO. Previously, consoles running firmware 12.00 and above had to wait approximately 50 minutes for the crack to load, whereas the new method reportedly only takes a few seconds to load. It is worth noting that the new crack applies to both the base version and the PS5 Pro console.
