Universal Music Group (UMG), the world’s largest record company, and ElevenLabs, a well-known artificial intelligence speech synthesis technology start-up, officially announced an in-depth strategic cooperation agreement. According to the cooperation framework announced by both parties, Universal Music will rely on ElevenLabs' AI voice cloning, multi-lingual real-time translation and audio generation technology to jointly develop new commercial licensing models, multi-language interactive experiences and creative audio production tools while ensuring that the copyrights, portrait rights and sound assets of its artists are strictly protected by law.

As a copyright giant that controls half of the global music industry, Universal Music has always maintained a strong stance in safeguarding rights in the face of the wave of generative artificial intelligence technology.
