It was recently reported that Volkswagen has received complaints related to "Xingyu Shares dismissing fresh graduates in batches." On September 1, a spokesperson for Volkswagen China told The Paper, “The Volkswagen Group attaches great importance to complaints related to this supplier and launched a special investigation as soon as possible. The investigation is currently underway.”
"Respecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers is the core principle that the Volkswagen Group adheres to in all business activities. This also runs through the management of our supply chain system. We require that all basic values and rights must be fully protected." Volkswagen China emphasized.
