Lei Jun, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Group, posted an article on Weibo today to promote Xiaomi YU7’s new car purchase policy, but he wrote the wrong product price, writing “down payment starting from 79,900 yuan” instead of “down payment starting from 7.99 yuan”, which caused netizens to watch.
At first, Lei Jun posted that "Xiaomi YU7, a small number of existing cars, can enjoy a 'three-year zero interest' financial policy: a down payment starting from 7.99 yuan, and a three-year monthly payment starting from 4,267 yuan." Netizens discovered that the down payment price was missing the word "ten thousand", and then Lei Jun corrected it in the comment area: "The down payment starts from 79,900 yuan!" and simultaneously modified his Weibo.
