Recently,Main control solution manufacturer Yingren Technology announced the official mass production of its PCIe5.0 SSD controller YRS900. This is also the first mass-produced PCIe5.0 enterprise-level domestic main control.YRS900 adopts the open source RISC-V architecture to ensure IP security, supports mainstream NAND, can be configured with 16 or 18 channels, and is highly suitable for Yangtze Memory particles.

Yingren Technology stated that YRS900 uses a 4-channel PCIe5.0 interface, supports NVMe2.0, and adopts a multi-core CPU parallel command processing method.

According to official tests,YRS900 has sequential read speeds of up to 14GB/s, sequential write speeds of up to 12GB/s, 4K random read speeds of 3.5MIOPs, and 4K random write speeds of 2.5MIOPs.

It is reported that YRS900 adopts the third-generation ECC error correction engine independently developed by Yingren, collaboratively optimizing 4KLDPC codec and digital signal processing technology, and a new hybrid adaptive error correction scheme. With KIOXIA XL-FLASH, the measured 4K random read latency can be as low as 10us.Can improve SSD stability and extend service life.

In terms of security, YRS900 supports multiple data encryption, user authentication and other algorithms and key management designs, and adapts to the authentication and key management standards required by the Security Protocol and Data Module (SPDM) issued by the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF).
