A Xiaomi staff member confirmed that Xiaomi cars will be launched in April. At the same time, the Xiaomi Home store in Beijing Oriental New World will open in April, and corresponding test drive activities will also be held.If we go by the timetable of previous rumors, Xiaomi Motors will be released on March 28, and if it is officially launched in April, then Xiaomi has already fully produced the SU7, and may have hundreds or thousands of units in stock.

It is understood that Xiaomi SU7 will be equipped with a 101kWh ternary lithium battery pack provided by CATL, using an 800V high-voltage platform with a maximum battery life of 800km. In terms of charging, the battery life can be increased by 220km in 5 minutes and 510km in 15 minutes.

Lei Jun also shared his deep thoughts on Xiaomi’s car-making experience. He emphasized that as the crown of the industry, automobiles have no shortcuts in their century-old track. Therefore, Xiaomi decided to start with the underlying core technology, insist on forward research and development, and conduct in-depth self-research in key areas such as electric drive, battery, large die-casting, intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit, striving to achieve a leading position globally and in China.

Xiaomi is committed to "tenfold investment", aiming to build a truly good car and promote the progress of the entire industry through technological innovation.

The biggest concern now is the price. According to sources, Xiaomi cars have multiple versions, so the cheapest one may be around 200,000 yuan. This price is indeed difficult to determine. After all, the price range of 200,000-300,000 yuan is too fierce.
