The Epic Games Store has added the EAPlay subscription service. This gives players another option to purchase and enjoy games on PC. The gaming industry has entered the era of subscription services for several years, and EAPlay is one of the representatives. Launched in 2020 after revamping EA Access, EA's subscription service provides players with various benefits every month.
Players can join the service in different ways, whether on PC or console, and can also enjoy rewards redeemed in the company's games. Now, players have another way to join the service.
The latest update to the Epic Games Store adds EAPlay, which can now be subscribed for $0.99 for the first month, $5.99 for subsequent months, and $39.99 for an annual subscription. The subscription gives players unlimited access to EA's game library, including popular titles such as Mass Effect, Mirror's Edge and Dragon Age: Inquisition. Other benefits include unlocking in-game rewards and 10% off EA’s digital purchases, such as full games, season passes, points packs, and even pre-orders and expansion content.
EA's service also includes game trials. Players who subscribe through the Epic Games Store will have the opportunity to try out the standard version of "EA Sports FC 25", "World Rally Championship 24", "Madden NFL 25" and "F124". Subscribers who try out a game and end up purchasing the full version can inherit their game progress and pick up where they left off. It's also important to note that if players subscribe to EAPlay through the Epic Games Store, their access to the game catalog, discounts, and benefits will be tied to the platform.
Among the EAPlay games available on the Epic Games Store, there are some standouts, such as Escape, a cooperative jailbreak game. For fans of fantasy adventure, there are two Woolly Winnies games, Fe, and Alice: Madness Returns to choose from. Players who prefer more exciting action games will be able to experience "Battlefield 4" and "Titanfall 2" as well as "Star Wars" games published by EA, including the popular "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order".
