The Shenzhou 17 manned spacecraft was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center

Just now, the Long March 2F Yao-17 carrier rocket carrying the Shenzhou 17 manned spacecraft was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.This mission is the 30th mission since the establishment of the manned space project and the 12th manned mission.

According to the plan, after the Shenzhou 17 manned spacecraft enters orbit, it will adopt the autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking mode and dock with the forward port of the Tianhe core module in about 6.5 hours, forming a three-cabin, three-ship combination.

During their stay in orbit, the Shenzhou 17 astronaut crew will receive visits from the Tianzhou 7 cargo spacecraft and the Shenzhou 18 manned spacecraft, and plan to return to the Dongfeng Landing Site around April next year.

At present, the status of the space station assembly and various equipment are working normally, the quality of the Shenzhou 17 manned spacecraft and the Long March 2F Yao 17 launch vehicle are under control, the Shenzhou 17 astronaut crew is in good condition, the ground system facilities and equipment are operating stably, and all preparations before launch are in place.

After completing the on-orbit rotation mission with the Shenzhou 17 astronaut crew, the Shenzhou 16 astronaut crew aims to return to the Dongfeng Landing Site on the 31st of this month.
