Novo Nordisk announced that the world's first and currently only GLP-1RA (glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist) weekly preparation for long-term weight management is officially launched in China.

Novogen stands out for its excellent weight loss effect. Clinical trial data shows that after using the drug, patients can reduce their average weight by about 17%, and this significant effect can last for at least two years. In addition, with more than 22 million patient-years of accumulated experience, the safety and effectiveness of semaglutide have been fully verified.

Based on the actual needs of obesity patients, Novo Nordisk will deploy Novo Nordisk's sales network extensively in multiple channels such as public hospitals, private hospitals and pharmacies to ensure that patients can easily access this innovative therapy.

It is worth noting that Novo Nordisk strictly follows the sales specifications of prescription drugs and currently does not directly sell Novoin through any online platform (including e-commerce platforms and social media, etc.), nor does it authorize or entrust any third party to sell on online platforms. This measure aims to ensure the safety of patients' medication and prevent risks caused by illegal circulation.

At the same time, Novo Nordisk reminds patients and medical professionals that Novoin is designed for long-term weight management in adults, while Novotel is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in adults.Although both belong to the semaglutide series, they target different diseases and cannot be used interchangeably.

In terms of finance, Novo Nordisk’s third-quarter financial report was full of highlights. The three products of the semaglutide series jointly contributed 141.213 billion Danish kroner (approximately US$20.292 billion) to the company’s revenue. Among them, Wegovy, the weight-loss version of semaglutide injection, performed particularly well, with revenue reaching 38.34 billion Danish kroner (approximately US$5.532 billion), a year-on-year increase of 77%.
