Wenchang International Aerospace Forum Satellite Gigafactory Forum was held in Wenchang. According to reports, the construction of the satellite super factory and the supporting projects of the Star Arrow Industrial Park located in Wenchang International Space City in Hainan is progressing smoothly.The satellite super factory is scheduled to be capped at the end of this year and officially put into production in June 2025. It will form an annual batch production capacity of 1,000 satellites.
The first test satellite is also expected to roll off the production line that month, enabling satellites to be "launched immediately after leaving the factory", becoming the core production and manufacturing base for building satellite applications to serve major national projects, and has now gathered nearly a thousand aerospace entrepreneurs.
Zhang Chenghao, Director of the Institutional Innovation Department of Wenchang International Space City Administration Bureau, introduced,The Satellite Super Factory and Star Arrow Industrial Park adopt a "1+1+8" structure, consisting of a satellite super factory, a test and inspection center and 8 core stand-alone research and development centers.
Among them, the satellite super factory has a construction area of 60,000 square meters, making it the largest satellite super factory currently under construction in Asia.
