The British "Financial Times" recently released a report that discussed the stability of the gaming industry and estimated the revenue of "GTA6" when it is released this fall. DFC Intelligence, a game market research organization, predicts that the game will reach $1 billion in pre-order revenue alone.

In addition, the organization also predicts that the game's revenue will exceed $3.2 billion in less than a year - breaking the record set by "GTA5".

Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar parent company Take-Two, said in an interview with the Financial Times: "I never declare victory before the battle is over. Nonetheless, I think Rockstar is going to deliver something extraordinary here. And naturally the expectations are very high."

He also discussed the current state of gaming's current generation and consumer habits, saying: "It's too early to think that the current generation (consoles) are or have peaked. We're going to see broader consumer demand. Frankly, under our leadership, the industry has amazing release plans for 2025 and beyond. The success of one company tends to benefit the entire industry."
