ASUS today announced the launch of the world's first 27-inch 4K resolution 240Hz OLED gaming monitor - ROGSwiftOLEDPG27UCDM. This monitor uses Samsung's fourth-generation QD-OLED panel, with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time. The actual viewing size is 26.5 inches, providing a pixel density of 166PPI, which is 53% higher than the traditional 27-inch 1440p monitor.
It also supports full-blood DP2.1a (80Gbps) interface and has complete UHBR20 specifications, which means that it can provide lossless image quality at full resolution and refresh rate without the need for DisplayStreamCompression technology. In addition, the monitor also supports HDMI2.1
ASUS confirmed that this monitor has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision HDR, and also has ASUS OLEDCarePro features such as proximity sensors that can turn off the screen when the user leaves, reducing the risk of screen burn.
