According to the "China Railway" public account, at 8:36 this morning, test train 55301 departed from Chengdu East Station. It marks that the newly built high-speed railway from Chengdu to Yibin has officially entered the operational test stage. It is reported that,The newly built high-speed railway from Chengdu to Yibin is an important part of the Beijing-Kunming corridor of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, with a total length of approximately 260 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
The Chengdu to Yibin high-speed railway consists of the newly built Dudong to Yibin East high-speed railway and the newly built Chongqing to Kunming high-speed railway from Yibin East to Yibin.
After completion and opening to traffic,There will be a direct high-speed train from Chengdu city to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, making it more convenient for local or foreign tourists to travel by air. It only takes 40 minutes to get to Zigong from Chengdu and about an hour to Yibin.
The entire line has Chengdu East, Tianfu, Sanchahu, Tianfu Airport, Ziyang West, Zizhong West, Weiyuan, Zigong, Yantan, Nanxi North, Yibin East and Yibin stations.
What is worth looking forward to is that after the new high-speed railway from Chengdu to Yibin is completed and opened to traffic,Together with the Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway, Chengdu-Guiyang High-speed Railway and Guiyang-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, it will form a high-speed railway channel from Chengdu to Kunming, Guiyang and Guangzhou.
