In the end, we think it may be within 7 companies, but many friends are too pessimistic and think it will be within 5 companies."
He Xiaopeng said that 10 years ago, there were about 400 traditional car companies in China, but now there are still about 40. Now every two months, a brand goes down and is basically not in operation. The industry merger and acquisition integration process is very fast.
He Xiaopeng pointed out that the success factors of each car company are different, and two capabilities are essential:One is its capabilities in the field of AI, and the other is how it can be sold on a global scale.
In the next 10 years, the penetration rate of AI car use will increase from less than 5% now to between 50-90%. So AI is one of the important changes.
As for the global sales of automobiles, it is a comprehensive combination that includes production, manufacturing, supply chain, policies and regulations, brand, market, sales, service, reputation, etc. This ability is also very critical.
In the process of globalization, we must achieve a win-win situation with the locals. Don't go global in the hope of making quick money. Only by having a good reputation is the core condition for a company or a product to go global.
