U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said on the show on Friday that Boeing has gone off track and lost the trust of the American public after experiencing an in-flight emergency involving a new 737 MAX passenger plane in January 2024 and two fatal crashes in 2018 and 2019.

Duffy also pointed out that the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is not yet ready to lift its monthly production limit of 38 737 MAX aircraft.

Duffy said: "(Boeing) has lost trust and must review its manufacturing processes, strictly control quality, and raise standards to a level that convinces the Federal Aviation Administration, the American public and airlines that it is producing absolutely safe aircraft."
