In her letter, she stated that forty years ago, under the leadership of founder Mr. Hou Weigui, ZTE set sail from the coast of the South China Sea. Over the past forty years, ZTE has witnessed and participated in the leap-forward development of China's information and communications industry from catching up in 2G, breaking through in 3G, advancing in parallel with 4G to leading in 5G, and growing from a local company to a leading multinational company in the world. During this growth process, the company has gone through many severe tests of ups and downs in the industry cycle and changes in the external environment, but it has always grown through challenges with perseverance. She particularly emphasized that this comes from the persistence of the original intention of "ZTE, Prosperity of China" and the spirit of independent innovation passed down from generation to generation of ZTE people. In the letter, she also paid tribute to the contribution of former chairman Mr. Li Zixue to the company. She mentioned that Li Zixue led the management team to take over the task at the most difficult period of the company, led the company to quickly get out of the trough, stabilized its operating fundamentals, successfully grasped key opportunities such as China's 5G construction, and clarified the strategy for the AI era, laying a solid foundation for the company's steady development.

Facing the current complex and ever-changing external environment, Fang Rong pointed out that the world has entered an AI-driven industrial revolution, where opportunities and challenges coexist, and it is increasingly urgent for companies to expand and transform from full connectivity to "connection + computing power". Together with the board of directors and management team, she will not forget the original intention, adhere to the inheritance and development of strategy, innovation and culture, maintain strategic focus, and use "connection + computing power" as the fulcrum to break through boundaries in challenges; strengthen technological accumulation and innovation genes, adhere to technological leadership, and lead industrial development; inherit the cultural spirit and keep core values alive in the new era. She firmly believes that with the joint efforts of all ZTE people, we will be able to seize the strategic opportunities of the new round of industrial change, promote the company's sustained and steady growth, create an excellent growth platform for employees, and create higher value for shareholders. She also mentioned that ZTE will continue to work with global partners to accelerate the deployment and upgrade of AI infrastructure, promote the integration of digital intelligence technology into thousands of industries, and make all-round intelligent experiences reach every consumer. At the same time, the company will actively implement green and low-carbon global initiatives, promote inclusive AI, bridge the digital divide, and work with all parties to build a sustainable future.
