The cumulative global box office of Nolan's new film "Oppenheimer" surpassed the total box office of 2018's "Bohemian Rhapsody" of US$910.8 million, becoming the box office champion of biopics in film history. Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek starred in these two biographical films, which were the highest-grossing at the box office.

"Oppenheimer" is also the third film this year to have a global box office of over 900 million U.S. dollars, second only to "Barbie" and "Super Mario Bros. Movie."

As of the end of this week, the global box office of "Oppenheimer" was approximately US$912 million, of which the box office outside North America was approximately US$590 million, including 380 million yuan in mainland China.
