Originally, Rockstar stated in the "preview of the preview" that has become the "new version of "Cyberpunk 2077" postponement announcement" that the trailer of "GTA6" will be released at 22:00 today (December 5). However, what caught everyone off guard was that Rockstar released the trailer almost a day in advance.

On its official Twitter, Rockstar wrote: "Our trailer has been leaked so please watch the real thing on YouTube."

According to IGN, the trailer for "GTA6" had been leaked nearly 24 hours before the trailer was released. The trailer was posted on Twitter and quickly spread across major social media. The account that was originally leaked was quickly banned, but it was said to have received thousands of likes before being banned.

In addition to this leak, a naughty kid (claiming to be the son of Aaron Garbut, the director of development/studio of Rockstar North) posted an in-game video on social networking sites in order to prove that "my dad works at Rockstar". It is still unknown whether these clips are true, but comparing with the actual machine released in the trailer, the picture style is indeed very similar, but the "autumn 2024" release date he revealed is different from the officially announced release in 2025.

Under Rockstar's tweet, game publisher Devolver Digital asked if there was any new news about "Red Dead Redemption 3", but Rockstar did not reply.
