According to the latest data shared by TechEpiphany,In July 2025, AMD accounted for 77.6% of CPU sales on Amazon Germany, while Intel only accounted for 22.4%.In terms of revenue, AMD accounts for nearly 80% of the share, mainly due to its high-priced models. The average selling price of AMD CPU is about 288.85 euros, while the average selling price of Intel is 257.04 euros.
Data also shows that 8-core CPUs have become the most popular choice, accounting for 40% of total sales and 45% of total revenue, with AMD's Ryzen 7 series processors performing particularly well.
6-core CPUs still account for a quarter of sales, but due to their lower prices, they generate relatively less revenue; high-end chips with 16 cores and above account for 21% of total sales, but contribute 32% of revenue.
The main reason is that as the hardware requirements of games continue to increase, players using 6-core or lower core CPUs may need to upgrade to obtain the best performance. Popular models such as 9800X3D and 7800X3D have undoubtedly promoted the popularity of 8-core CPUs.
By interface, AM5 dominates with 55% of shipments and 68% of revenue, showing players' strong demand for the new generation of AMD platforms; AM4 still accounts for 22% of shipments, but has a lower average selling price.
