recently,Some users discovered that China Mobile’s eSIM service reservation interface has been launched. Users can make reservations after logging in, and detailed instructions can be seen after entering the page.According to China Mobile’s online announcement, the current eSIM processing conditions and restrictions mainly include the following points:

Only 11-digit mobile phone numbers are supported, landline numbers, special service numbers, etc. are not supported.
You must bring your mobile phone and ID card to the offline business hall to apply.
Minors, overseas users, and agents are currently not supported.
Supports services such as new network access, card replacement, card replenishment, shutdown and restoration, account cancellation, number portability and network transfer.
A mobile phone can activate up to two eSIM numbers of domestic operators. Once the number is full, no more can be added.
Each eSIM mobile phone can open up to 2 new numbers per calendar month.
The number of card replacements for each number is ≤5 times per month.
The total number of eSIM+physical SIM cards under the same ID card shall not exceed 5.
It is reported that this year Apple released the iPhone Air, which became the first pure eSIM version of the iPhone in mainland China. The physical SIM card slot has been completely removed from the fuselage.
Currently, the relevant statement on the iPhone Air introduction page is "China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom will provide eSIM support for this product. The specific time will be determined by the approval of regulatory authorities."
It is expected that iPhone Air will be officially launched soon after the eSIM services of the three major operators are ready.
