According to the official public account of "Blue Arrow Aerospace", today, the Zhuque-3 Yaoyi carrier rocket was launched from the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Test Zone. The flight mission was completed according to the procedure, and the rocket's second stage entered the predetermined orbit.According to reports, during the flight of this mission, key actions such as rocket takeoff, primary and secondary separation, secondary engine starting, fairing separation, secondary engine shutdown, secondary taxiing, and secondary engine secondary starting were all completed as planned, and the performance was stable and reliable.
At the same time, this mission carried out flight verification of the first-stage vertical recovery technology.
According to flight measurement data,An abnormality occurred after the first sub-stage of the rocket was ignited in the landing section. It failed to achieve a soft landing on the recovery site. The debris landed on the edge of the recovery site. The recovery test failed. The specific reasons are under further investigation.

It is understood thatThis mission achieved five major technological breakthroughs:
It is the first time in the country that a reusable liquid oxygen methane carrier rocket with a new overall layout has been put into orbit.
It is the first time in the country to realize the integrated application of nine-machine parallel liquid oxygen methane power system.
Initiating the first new high-strength stainless steel/high-performance laser welding tank manufacturing material and process system in China.
For the first time in China, the flight verification of high-precision return navigation, guidance and control technology of a reusable launch vehicle at the orbit stage was achieved.
For the first time in the country, the hybrid redundant distributed comprehensive electronic integration design and application of a reusable launch vehicle has been realized.

According to the data, Zhuque-3 is a new generation of low-cost, large-capacity, high-frequency, reusable liquid oxygen methane launch vehicle independently developed by Blue Arrow Aerospace for large-scale constellation networking missions.
The rocket adopts a single-core and two-stage series configuration. The diameter of the primary and secondary rocket body is 4.5 meters, the fairing diameter is 5.2 meters, the total arrow length is 66.1m, the take-off mass is about 560t, and the take-off thrust is 7542kN.
The power system is based on the Tianque series liquid oxygen methane engine independently developed by Blue Arrow Aerospace. The first stage uses nine Tianque 12A engines in parallel; the second stage uses one Tianque 15A vacuum engine.
The first sub-stage of Zhuque-3 can perform vertical return and soft landing after separation between stages. It is designed to be reused no less than 20 times, has a low-Earth orbit carrying capacity of no less than 18 tons in the mature air zone recovery state, and has the ability to deploy multiple satellites in one rocket for the Internet constellation.
