From December 23 this year to January 25 next year, if you want to visit "Xiao Xiao" and "Leilei", tourists need to make an appointment online in advance. After the news was released, a large number of Japanese people took action to seize the last opportunity to see giant pandas and book zoo tickets.
At noon on December 16, due to too many reservations, the Ueno Zoo official website system crashed. As of 12 noon on the 16th, Beijing time, all tickets available for reservation on the first day have been sold out.
Not only that, a local photography enthusiast revealed"Everyone has a time limit for visiting giant pandas and cannot stay. For example, there are three spots in front of the 'Leilei' exhibition hall, and you can only stay at each spot for a maximum of one minute."
According to information on the official website of Ueno Zoo, the giant panda exhibition hall has opened a reservation system from December 23 to 26, 2025, and from December 27 to January 12 of the following year, with a daily limit of 4,800 tickets, and a maximum of 400 people allowed to visit every half hour.
