On February 23, local time, shortly after a Ryanair Boeing 737 passenger plane (registration number EI-IJS) landed at Marseille Provence Airport in France,A passenger's mobile phone exploded in the cabin, and the crew used slides to evacuate all passengers.

The flight involved was Ryanair FR6477, operating a flight from Nantes Atlantic Airport to Marseille.

According to reports, a passenger's mobile phone or its battery caught fire on board the aircraft after it landed, prompting the crew to initiate preventive emergency evacuation procedures. After the slide was deployed, passengers and crew were evacuated directly to the tarmac.

Video from the scene showed that the phone had been shattered.A flight attendant brought a fire extinguisher and put out the fire on the mobile phone. The brand of the mobile phone that caught fire has not yet been disclosed.

After emergency rescue personnel arrived at the scene,All passengers and crew were evacuated safely and preliminary reports indicate no one was injured.

It is worth noting that in recent times, accidents involving mobile electronic devices catching fire during flights have occurred frequently.

Other reports indicate that on February 22, local time, Alaska Airlines flight 2117 (actually operated by Horizon Air, the aircraft model is Embraer E175) suffered a safety incident during the flight.

A passenger's mobile phone and power bank overheated and caught fire, forcing the flight to make an emergency return to Wichita, the departure point. One passenger was sent to the hospital and all passengers were severely delayed.

Passengers on board revealed that the passenger was using a mobile power bank to charge his mobile phone when the fire broke out. The device involved was placed on his lap and suddenly caught fire without being touched or played with.
