On March 17, Apple CEO Cook announced that Apple Watch users in China can now use the mobile pulse rate atrial fibrillation sign recording software function. Atrial fibrillation patients can better understand their condition and share relevant information with doctors.

According to reports, users diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (atrial fibrillation) can turn on the atrial fibrillation history function and access important information such as the estimated frequency of the user's heart rhythm showing signs of atrial fibrillation to gain a deeper understanding of their health.

Users can also get weekly notifications to understand the estimated frequency of atrial fibrillation attacks, and view detailed history through the health app, including lifestyle factors that may affect atrial fibrillation, such as sleep, alcohol intake, exercise, etc.

It is understood that "Mobile Pulse Rate Atrial Fibrillation Sign Recording Software" is its registered name in mainland China. It was approved by the China State Food and Drug Administration on December 26, 2025, and obtained the second-class qualification for imported medical devices.
