Weibo previously issued a notice stating that the site will soon guide "self-media" accounts with more than 1 million fans in professional fields such as social current affairs, military, finance, law, and medicine to fill in real-name information to further standardize the operation and management of "self-media" accounts.

In the future, it will be gradually expanded to "self-media" accounts with more than 500,000 fans in relevant fields, and real-name display will be carried out at the front desk with the user's consent.

As for ordinary users and accounts in fields that focus on sharing personal daily life, they are not affected by the real-name display at the front desk.
