On September 21, it was reported online that the Academic Affairs Office of Xi’an Jiaotong University issued a notice:After the school’s fifth Undergraduate School Council meeting in 2023, it was decided that the school will no longer regard the participation and test scores of the College English CET-4 and CET-6 exams, on-campus English proficiency exams and other various off-campus English exams as conditions for undergraduate graduation and bachelor’s degree awards.
