Abstract:
On August 27, Alibaba officially released the new Qoder, positioned as an "intelligent workbench for everyone." This product uses Coding as its core capability. Users do not need to write code, but can complete tasks such as development, prototyping, and data processing by simply describing the target in natural language. Qoder has built-in Qwen3.8-Max and other cutting-edge models, and provides Auto intelligent scheduling capabilities, which can match the appropriate model between effect, speed and cost according to the characteristics of the task.
Qoder supports more than 40 connectors, more than 70 plug-ins and more than 20,000 skills, and can integrate code warehouses, project management, cloud services and internal tools into AI workflows. The product provides two modes: programming and general-purpose, and has designed functions such as Plan, Goal and side tasks for long-term and complex tasks. In terms of interaction, Qoder introduces desktop pets and real-time voice capabilities. Users can initiate and follow up tasks through voice, and adjust the execution process at any time.
The new Qoder product family includes IDE, CLI, JetBrains plug-in, mobile terminal, digital employee QoderWake and Cloud Agents, etc. Since its global release in August 2025, Qoder has served more than 6 million users and more than 100,000 corporate customers around the world. The new version simplifies interaction and lowers the threshold of use, while further strengthening its positioning as an AI Agent productivity tool.
