Domestic robot dogs dominate the world, Yushu Technology ranks first in the world with 37% market share

📅 2026-09-21

Abstract:

According to statistics for the first half of 2026 released by Counterpoint,

The total global shipments of quadruped robots are close to 35,000 units, and domestic manufacturer Yushu Technology ranks first in the world, with an overall market share of 37%. The second place is Zhiyuan Kutuo, with a share of 16.3%, the third place is Zhishen Technology, which accounts for 12.6%, and the fourth place, Yunshen Technology, has a share of 10.4%.

It can be seen that several domestic companies have firmly occupied the top position in the global quadruped robot market.

Yushu is able to achieve such a high shipment ratio mainly by relying on the entertainment and science and education markets. These two businesses account for more than 70% of its total shipments. Many universities and scientific research institutions use it for subject experiments, and many exhibitions and commercial activities also use its robot dog products. The secondary development ecology is relatively complete, and it has many customers at home and abroad.

One detail needs to be distinguished here. If you only look at industry application tracks such as industrial inspection, the ranking will change. Yushu’s market share in the industry segment is only 17.6%, ranking fourth. Ranking first is Zhiyuan, with a share of 27.8%.

The entire industry is expanding rapidly. Of all shipments in the first half of the year, 40% went to industry scenarios for security patrols, power station inspections, and emergency operations.

The agency predicts that global shipments of quadruped robots will exceed 90,000 units for the first time in 2026, and the industrial end will be the largest growth point in the future.

Nowadays, robot dogs are no longer just eye-catching toys at exhibitions. However, the threshold for industrial scenarios is very high. Not only must they be able to walk, they must also be able to withstand harsh environments and install various sensors, which require higher stability and protection levels.

Of the 35,000 quadruped robots shipped in the first half of 2026, roughly one in every five will be a medium-to-large size model. As the momentum of industry growth shifts from entertainment, science and education scenarios to B-end industry applications, the importance of the heavy-duty industry-level quadruped robot track has become increasingly prominent.
