Recently, a statement has been circulated on the Internet, saying that mobile phones using Hongmeng system cannot see the works published by the Douyin account of "People's Daily" involving Zunjie V800 brake pedal breakage. Many netizens suspect that the relevant content has been blocked by the platform.
Subsequently, a media reporter conducted a comparative test using mobile phones with different systems. It was found that the relevant graphic and text works published by the Douyin account of the "People's Daily" were indeed not displayed in the account works list of Hongmeng system mobile phones. However, when using ordinary Android phones and Apple phones to view the work list of the same account, the corresponding content can be found normally.
Looking back at previous information, we can see that on October 11, the People's Daily client had publicly published "Four departments join forces to say no to "crash cars"! ” article specifically mentioned the Zunjie V800 brake pedal bracket breakage incident that has caused widespread controversy recently, focusing on the importance of automobile product safety to ordinary consumers.
After this content was simultaneously distributed to the People's Daily Douyin account, a large number of users soon discovered that when opening the Douyin account with a Huawei Hongmeng system phone, the content could not be found in the normal sequence of works. Switching to an Apple or Android device would allow normal browsing. Many netizens speculated based on this that the Hongmeng system had made special restrictions on negative content involving the Zunjie brand.
In response to this abnormal phenomenon that triggered widespread discussion, the official later provided feedback and explanation.
The Douyin Hongmeng version client has not yet completed the format adaptation of graphic and article videos, so some works in this format cannot be displayed normally in the Hongmeng version. It is not at all that invisible permissions are set separately for specific content.
According to relevant technical personnel, the adaptation bug reported by users has been simultaneously submitted to the Douyin development team, and the corresponding adaptation optimization work is currently being carried out intensively.
