Today the iPhone 18 Pro series is officially on sale for the first time, with a starting price of 9,999 yuan. Both models start at 256GB, and the price of the top-end version exceeds 20,000 yuan. The iPhone 18 Pro 2TB is priced at 20,499 yuan, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max 2TB is priced at 21,499 yuan.
It is worth mentioning that the iPhone 18 Pro has already broken through, and the price of Pinduoduo’s tens of billions of subsidized channels is 9,699 yuan, which is 300 yuan cheaper than Apple’s official website. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to be sold at a premium in scalper channels, and its popularity is higher than that of the Pro version.
In terms of hardware configuration, both models are equipped with TSMC’s 2nm process A20 Pro chip, which is equipped with a 6-core CPU and a 7-core GPU. It supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing and is the most powerful mobile phone chip to date.
The imaging systems are exactly the same, both are 48-megapixel three-camera combinations. The main camera introduces variable aperture technology for the first time, covering ultra-wide-angle, telephoto and up to 8x optical quality zoom. The screens all support ProMotion 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and all-weather display, and the protection level is IP68.
The differences are concentrated in three places: first, the screen size, Pro is 6.3 inches, Pro Max is 6.9 inches, the latter has a stronger visual immersion; second, the battery life, the Pro can play videos for up to 34 hours, and the Pro Max can play up to 43 hours, the gap widens to 9 hours; finally, the weight, the Pro is 211 grams, and the Pro Max is 249 grams, the difference in feel is significant.
In terms of appearance design, the smart island of the iPhone 18 Pro series has been significantly reduced. Apple has placed the infrared camera under the screen and introduced four colors, namely burgundy red, glacier blue, silver and black. This series retains the physical SIM card slot and supports eSIM.
