Some media visited an Apple retail store in Wuhan. According to the store clerk, the black version of iPhone 18 Pro Max was the first to be sold out, making it the most popular color. The replenishment time is not yet clear, and it is expected to arrive in November.
Apple’s official website shows that if you order the 256GB version of iPhone 18 Pro now, you are expected to wait 15 working days; while the iPhone 18 Pro is relatively faster and you need to wait 11 working days.
In comparison, the waiting time at JD.com’s Apple self-operated stores is shorter. If you place an order for iPhone 18 Pro now, it is expected to be in stock after September 25, which is more friendly for users who are eager to get it.
In terms of hardware configuration, the iPhone 18 Pro series debuts the A20 Pro chip, which is Apple’s first mobile phone chip using the 2nm process. In terms of specifications, the A20 Pro's 6-core CPU adopts a design of 2 performance cores + 4 energy efficiency cores. The 7-core GPU graphics performance is improved by about 40%, the memory bandwidth is increased by 50%, and dual 16-core neural network engines are included.
What’s even more interesting is that this generation of chips is in direct contact with the VC chamber inside the fuselage, so the sustained performance release will be more stable, and the performance in high-load scenarios is worth looking forward to.
