Abstract:
G2A.COM published a user survey in a cooperatively sponsored article: When it comes to purchasing methods for large-scale games such as "Grand Theft Auto 6", 38% of respondents choose digital downloads and 27% choose physical discs. As game sales increasingly shift to digital channels, player choice extends to purchasing platforms, prices and payment methods.

This survey is open to more than 2,000 G2A.COM platform users. In addition to those who chose digital versions and CDs, the remaining 35% said they had no preference or did not intend to purchase the game mentioned in the question.
The article pointed out that when purchasing games in the past, physical versions and downloaded versions were the most intuitive choices. As physical releases taper off, players will still be comparing different stores, product offers and payment methods on digital channels. The PC gaming market, which has long been dominated by digital distribution methods, provides an example of this purchasing option.

Physical content will still affect the decisions of some respondents. In the survey, 59% of people said that physical accessories such as iron boxes and picture albums may affect their purchasing choices.
