Honor releases 2 upgraded AI workstation: AMD, Intel and NVIDIA three platforms join the battle, local large model deployment targets the enterprise market

📅 2026-09-19

Abstract:

Honor officially released the new Tiangong AXB35 artificial intelligence workstation. This product is designed with an ultra-small chassis with a volume of only about 2 liters, but offers three different hardware platform configurations from AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA. It focuses on high-performance scenarios such as local AI reasoning, enterprise knowledge base, multi-agent applications, and professional content creation.

As a consumer electronics manufacturer that was once independent from Huawei, the Tiangong AXB35 launched by Honor this time is not aimed at the ordinary mini computer market, but directly targeted at the rapidly growing enterprise-level AI computing needs. The overall size of the machine is only 70 mm × 192 mm × 203 mm, with a volume of about 2 liters, but the official positions it as a complete AI workstation platform rather than an ordinary office computer.

Honor stated that Tiangong AXB35 is capable of tasks such as high-end office work, local knowledge base construction, large model reasoning, and multi-agent application development. It is also suitable for computing-intensive work such as 3D modeling, creative design, software development, and even game entertainment.

The entire product line is divided into three models: Standard, Pro and Ultra.

The standard version is equipped with Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor and adopts a 16-core design, including 4 performance cores, 12 energy-efficiency cores and 4 low-power cores. It also integrates a new generation of Intel Arc B390 core graphics card, supporting up to 96GB memory configuration. This is the entry-level model in the series for enterprise users looking to build local AI applications or high-performance office environments.

The Pro version turns to the AMD platform, using a 16-core Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, integrated Radeon 8060S graphics core, and equipped with up to 128GB LPDDR5X memory. With up to 256GB/s memory bandwidth, this version is more suitable for graphics processing, AI inference, and large creative workloads.

The flagship Ultra version uses the most topical NVIDIA RTX Spark platform. This is a new generation of artificial intelligence computing solution based on Arm architecture, which will be deployed for local large models and advanced AI applications. Depending on the configuration, users can obtain higher levels of AI computing power and larger storage resources.

In terms of storage configuration, the standard version is pre-installed with a 512GB solid-state drive, the Pro version is upgraded to 1TB, and the Ultra version provides up to 2TB storage space.

Although the body is extremely compact, Honor still provides strong expansion capabilities. The system is equipped with two 2280 specification PCIe x4 M.2 slots and one PCIe x4 slot compatible with 2242 and 2280 specifications, allowing users to expand storage space later.

The network part also reflects enterprise-level positioning. Tiangong AXB35 is equipped with dual 10GbE 10G network ports and supports Wi‑Fi 7 wireless network and Bluetooth connection. In artificial intelligence model deployment and local server scenarios, this configuration can meet high-speed data transmission requirements.

In terms of interfaces, the device is equipped with two USB4 interfaces, four USB Type-A interfaces, one DisplayPort 1.4 interface and one HDMI 2.1 interface. In addition, a 3.5mm audio interface is reserved on the front and rear of the fuselage to meet the needs of professional working environments.

In terms of power supply, the whole machine uses a 240W external power adapter. Honor said that in performance mode, the processor power consumption can be increased to up to 132W, thereby releasing stronger performance within a limited volume.

In terms of operating system, users can choose Windows 11 or deploy Ubuntu Linux system. This dual platform support enables Tiangong AXB35 to adapt to traditional enterprise office environments and meet the professional needs of developers and AI engineers.

At present, Honor has not announced the specific price, international market sales plan and consumer retail channel arrangements. Judging from the official positioning, Tiangong AXB35 will initially be promoted to corporate customers, AI development teams and professional studios.

As more and more companies begin to try to deploy large language models and agent applications locally, the market demand for high-performance, compact AI computing equipment is growing rapidly. Honor’s launch of the Tiangong AXB35, which is only 2 liters in size, also reflects the development of artificial intelligence workstations from traditional huge tower chassis to high density and miniaturization.
