According to Tom's Hardware, memory manufacturer Quanhe's previously announced "1+1" DDR5 filled memory kits are now officially on sale in the UK and Europe, and 0GB fake memory for purely decorative purposes has also landed in the North American market.
This type of product is specially designed for users who cannot afford large-capacity memory: the fake memory stick does not contain any storage particles inside, and only retains the RGB lighting effect that can be lit normally. When plugged into the motherboard, it can create a "full slot" visual effect.
Quanhe currently has two DDR5 product lines, Manta XSky and Manta XFinity. Among them, the 1+1 set (one real memory + one fake memory) only provides the Manta XSky model, and only covers the British and German markets, and has not yet entered the United States.
The 0GB kit (both are fake memory) covers both XSky and XFinity models and is available in multiple regions. The overall price starts from US$43 (about 288 yuan) and reaches a maximum of nearly 300 US dollars (about 2013 yuan).
In the British market, the retailer Overclockers currently has a 16GB 6000MT/s CL30 strip on the shelves, priced at 210 pounds (about 1,905 yuan). It is available in black and white. The package contains a 16GB real memory and a filler strip. The CL28 version with higher specifications is priced at 219 pounds (about 1,987 yuan). The combination is also one real and one fake.
In the European market, only one product can be found in stock through the price comparison website Geizhals: the 16GB 6000MT/s CL28 set black version, priced at 330 euros (approximately 2572 yuan), and the CL30 version priced at 220 euros (approximately 1714 yuan), but it is currently out of stock at its only sales channel, the German retailer CaseKing.
In the North American market, although the 1+1 set has not been put on the shelves, the supply of 0GB fake memory is quite sufficient. The Manta XFinity model sold by Amazon is priced at US$57 (approximately RMB 382), with black and white color options available, and the Manta XSky white version sold by Newegg is priced at US$44 (approximately RMB 295).
It should be noted that the 0GB kit does not contain any real memory particles and is a purely decorative product. It is only suitable for users whose system has available memory and has two empty slots left on the motherboard.
After the fake memory is powered on, the RGB lighting effect can work normally, and the appearance is almost like the real thing, making the whole machine look "full of blood and equipment."
