Abstract:
An overseas reader survey for Android users showed that 43.7% of respondents who were interested in folding screen phones were willing to consider switching to Apple's first folding screen phone, iPhone Duo. Among them, 26.4% clearly expressed their willingness to change cameras, and another 17.3% said that if the camera performance is improved, they would consider switching to this product.

From the perspective of all respondents, 38.9% are not interested in folding screen phones, 34.4% hope to continue using Android folding screen phones, 16.1% are willing to switch to iPhone Duo, and 10.6% are interested in the phone, but hope it can improve camera performance. The total proportion of those who are clearly willing to change phones and those who are conditionally considering changing phones is 26.7%.
After excluding those who do not pay attention to foldable screen phones, the proportion of those who want to continue using Android foldable screen phones is 56.3%, still accounting for the majority. Since the respondents of this survey are mainly Android users, the results can only reflect the attitudes of a specific reader group and cannot be used to judge whether Android users will switch to iPhone on a large scale.
Relevant information shows that iPhone Duo may use a screen with less obvious creases, a wider body design and exclusive software features, and will be priced at US$1,999. However, some respondents cited price, camera performance and system freedom as barriers to switching. Some people mentioned that there are limitations when using the iPhone with Windows devices; others were unwilling to give up Android's flexibility in third-party application installation and file management.

In addition, some users said they would give priority to comparing folding screen products from brands such as Samsung, vivo, Honor and OPPO. Surveys show that iPhone Duo has entered the consideration range of some Android users, but its actual appeal will still depend on price, imaging capabilities and user experience.
