Abstract:
Sony has announced that the sale of its Pulse Elevate wireless speaker has been postponed indefinitely, less than a week before it was originally scheduled to be launched. IGN first discovered that Sony updated the official PlayStation blog on November 6 with the first announcement announcing the news. Officials stated that a "production problem" was found in the product during quality inspection, and there is currently no new release date.
The official statement said: "During the continuous quality inspection of the Pulse Elevate speakers, we discovered that there was a production problem with the product, so we decided to postpone the release. The additional polishing time can ensure that this product can bring players the experience we expected. We deeply apologize for this delay and thank everyone for your patience and understanding. We look forward to bringing Pulse Elevate to players as soon as possible."

This speaker was originally scheduled to be released simultaneously globally on November 12, and pre-orders began in September this year. It is currently unclear how the generated pre-orders will be processed. We will update more details in a timely manner.
Sony officially released Pulse Elevate in September 2025, which is its first wireless speaker for desktop games. This product, along with the Pulse Elite headphones and Pulse Explore earbuds, belongs to the PlayStation audio product line and is priced at US$219.99.
The speaker can be connected to PS5, PC, Mac and PlayStation Portal via PlayStation Link technology, and also supports Bluetooth pairing with mobile devices. The speaker on the right has a built-in microphone and is equipped with what Sony calls "AI enhanced noise reduction" technology.
The midnight black color version was originally scheduled to be sold globally, while the white version was only available in a few countries such as the UK.
