Abstract:
The unofficial PC port project of "Super Mario Bros. Marvel" is said to be in the advanced stages of development and may be launched soon, but there is currently no clear release date. This is a porting effort by an individual or community, and is different from the original game released on Nintendo Switch in 2023.

The original game is a two-dimensional platform game. Players control characters such as Mario to explore the Flower Kingdom. The Surprise Flower can change the objects and environment in the level. The game supports single player and local multiplayer play.

This porting project does not use an emulator, but converts the game code into code that can be executed natively on the computer. The project also uses the Switch version of C++ code and builds the Windows version via clang-cl.
In terms of graphics processing, the project reconstructed the original NVN graphics instructions and rewritten them into Vulkan instructions through a self-made conversion layer. In a Windows environment, relevant graphics calls can interact directly with the NVIDIA driver.

There is currently no news of Nintendo's involvement or endorsement of the project. Other Switch games such as "Super Mario Odyssey" also have unofficial porting projects in development, but they are different projects from the porting of "Super Mario Bros. Amazing".
