The car expert released another test video: the Zhijie V9 and other models were braked six times without any breakage of the brake pedal bracket.

Abstract:

The industry turmoil over the Zunjie V800's broken brake pedal continues to simmer. Recently, Chedi has released comparative test videos of a number of mainstream models of the same level, using public measured data to respond to the outside world's previous doubts about the rationality of the test standards. In this newly public comparison test, many mainstream high-end models such as the Zhijie V9 that participated in the test completed six consecutive full-force braking operations at 100 kilometers per hour. The brake pedal brackets of all vehicles did not show any abnormalities in deformation or breakage.

The controversial test video previously released by Chedi showed that the test team selected three brand-new Zunjie V800s to conduct emergency braking tests from 100km/h to a complete stop. All three test vehicles suffered a rare physical fracture of the brake pedal bracket during the heavy braking range from the second to the fourth foot.

The latest public comparison test covers the Zhijie V9, Lili’s flagship MPV, Porsche models of the same level, Avita, and a number of similarly positioned models on sale under Xpeng. All vehicles participating in the test successfully withstood 6 full-force braking operations. There was no damage to the brake pedal body and supporting brackets. The complete test process is publicly traceable.
