At today's BlizzCon opening ceremony, Blizzard announced a brief plot trailer for the next expansion pack "The Last Titan", but did not reveal much about the ending of the current expansion pack "Darkest Night."

Most of the release process of "World of Warcraft" revolves around "Darkest Night", with the focus on the announcement of the final large-scale patch "Critical Etch". In version 12.2 of "Critical Etch", the series of conspiracy of Void Herald Zaragas to devour star souls will reach its climax, and players will finally (finally!) have to face this villain head-on. In the trailer animation, Zaragas tore open the door to the World Soul of Azeroth and led the void army to swarm in.
After showing this content, game director Ian Hazkostas said that he could not show too much content of "The Last Titan" yet, but he revealed that the final chapter of "Critical Etch" will lead to a major reveal, kicking off the climax of the 20-year plot of "World of Warcraft".
However, we still got a brief glimpse of the new expansion pack: in the snowy Northrend, in front of Wyrmrest Temple, a huge black figure was approaching, and then fired a giant laser. The screen also gives the launch year: 2027. This is when the next expansion pack will be released! Hazikostas said that after the plot of "Critical Etch" comes to an end, more related content will be announced early next year.
