A picture circulated on the Internet shows a young man wearing an Apple Vision Pro during a wedding photo shoot, and his new wife explicitly asked him not to do so. For most people, weddings are a time of excitement, new beginnings and a celebration of love. It was a good excuse for Jacob Wright to make the questionable decision to whip out his new Apple Vision Pro.

Wright didn't wear the VisionPro during the ceremony because it would obviously give the marriage a bad start, but he wore it for post-wedding photos and throughout the reception.

Wright, a software engineer at the artificial intelligence startup Runpod, said that playing with new technology is one of his hobbies, but his wife Cambry is not interested in Apple Vision Pro. She thinks the device is "a little creepy."

But that's not all, Cambri specifically requested that it not be included in their wedding photos.

"He said, 'Hey, honey, can we take pictures with the Apple Vision Pro?' He asked me maybe two or three times. And I was like, 'No, no, no, we have to wait, we have to wait.' And then I turned around and he turned it on."

Cambri looks disgusted in the photo. She later clarified that she didn't, but we doubt it.

"I looked angry in the photo," she told SFGate, although she was certainly surprised, "but I wasn't angry."

Of course, it would be useful to wear the headset on the couple's big day, as it can capture video of the space. Of course, space videos can also be shot using the less bizarre iPhone 15 Pro.
