Since the “One Belt, One Road” initiative ten years ago,A total of more than 78,000 China-Europe freight trains have run to dozens of countries and regions, with a total mileage of more than 700 million kilometers.It is reported that,China-Europe trains are organized by China Railway Corporation and officially opened on November 18, 2014.It operates according to fixed train numbers, routes, schedules and full operating times. It is an international railway transport train for containers and other railways that runs between China, Europe and countries co-building the “Belt and Road”.
China-Europe freight trains have laid out three corridors in the West and Middle East.They are the western passage through Alashankou (Horgos), the central passage through Erenhot, and the eastern passage through Manzhouli (Suifenhe).
According to previously announced news, in the first half of 2023, a total of 8,641 China-Europe freight trains were launched, delivering 936,000 TEUs of goods.
At present, China-Europe trains pass through dozens of countries and regions, including China, France, Russia, Germany, Poland, Spain, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Czechoslovakia, Chita, Baikal, Belgium, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
