Infographic: Q3 global foldable screen smartphone shipments increased by 10% year-on-year, and Samsung still topped the list

TechInsights published an article stating that in Q3 2023, global shipments of foldable screen smartphones will increase by 10% year-on-year. Samsung still ranks first in global foldable screen smartphone shipments, followed by Huawei, Motorola, Honor, vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi and Google.

North America and Western Europe suffered severe declines due to ongoing geopolitical and economic turmoil and Samsung's weakness. Asia-Pacific is the leader in foldable screen smartphone shipment growth in Q3 2023.

Clamshells account for the largest share of foldable design types, but book-folding phones have the strongest year-over-year growth.
