It will be some time before the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 are officially released, but this does not mean that the company is not actively developing these two devices. We now know that the clamshell foldable phone will get an upgrade in terms of cover screen.
Compared with its predecessor, Galaxy Z Flip 6 seems to bring a larger cover screen. Sources say we will see a 3.9-inch cover screen on the new foldable phone, which would make it larger than any flip phone on the market.
Sources also said that the specific display sizes of Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 have been mentioned in the latest foldable report released by the Display Supply Chain Consulting Company, but we do not yet know what the specific sizes are.
Unfortunately, there aren't many details about the Galaxy Z Flip 6 at the moment, but earlier this year we did hear that the phone was finally getting an upgrade to its main camera sensor, and considering Samsung has long stuck with 12-megapixel cameras, it's about time it was updated. There are also reports that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 can finally house the S Pen on the device without the need for a protective case, but we can't confirm this at the time of writing.
Samsung is currently focusing its main efforts on the Galaxy S24 series, which means it will be a while before we start to learn more details about the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6.
