According to Variety, the sequel to Nicolas Cage's "Lord of War" will start filming in Morocco in 2024, with top producer Karim Debbagh joining the cast. Cage will continue to play the warmonger Yuri in the sequel, Bill Skarsgård ("The Return of the Clown", "The Barbarians") will play Yuri's son Anton, and director Andrew Niccol will also return.

"Lord of War" is a 2005 movie starring Nicolas Cage. The story takes place in the early 1980s and tells the story of Yuri Orlov who entered the illegal arms trading industry and eventually became a well-known and unscrupulous gun smuggler. The film's total box office gross was only $72.6 million.
